How to Replace The AL-042FR Refrigerator Filter Cartridge

• Shut off the water supply.
• Turn the old filter cartridge 1/4 turn anticlockwise to the left
• Pull the filter straight out and discard.
• Remove protecting cup from the new filter
• Push the new filter into the filter head.
• Turn the filter 1/4 turn to the right to lock it into place.
• Turn on water supply
• Run water for 5 minutes to purge the system.
• Check the filter area for leaks.

When the refrigerator water filter is replaced, reset the "Filter Indicator" light by pressing the Ice Maker Lock button for 3 seconds or more. While holding the lock button. The light will change to green.
