Description This water filter has been specially developed for Melitta coffee machines. It filters chlorine, copper, lead, pesticides and lime scale from the water and ensures cleaner and better tasting water. It protects the machine and prolongs its durability. The filter has an organic composition. Fits Melitta BeanTo Cup Coffee Makers: Barista * Caffeo Bistro * CI * Lattea * Lounge * Passione * Solo * Varianze Replacement Instruction: 1. Remove the filter from its packing. 2. To activate the filter, run tap water into the filter hole until water comes out from the side openings for more than a minute and gently shake it. 3. Remove the tank from the coffee machine and fill it with water. Insert the filter into the water tank and fully immerse it upside down for about 30 seconds, so that air bubbles can come out. Lightly press the filter (if possible) when immersed the water to expel the air contained in the filter. 4. Insert the filter into its housing and push (or screw it) down to the bottom. 5. Put the tank back into the machine. Remember: When the filter is installed, its presence must be signaled to the appliance. For the correct procedure, consult your machine’s instruction. Important: The filter is effective only for 50 liters or 2 months. Please see your coffee machine manuals. Replace the cartridge regularly every 50 litres (400 cups) or 2 months.
