Porvoo is one of Finland’s most popular summer towns, both in Finland and abroad. It is the second oldest city in Finland that located approximately 50 km away from Helsinki city center, which is quite feasible by bus and is a great option for a day tour from Helsinki!<\/p>\n

The Porvoo Old Town and the Porvoonjoki River Valley are recognized as historically and culturally significant as one of the National Landscapes of Finland. Porvoo Old Town is a popular tourist destination, known for its well-preserved 18th & 19th-century buildings. The Porvoo Cathedral constructed in the 15th century is also the must-not-miss spot.
\nIn this tour, you will have a slow walk on the street of Porvoo Old Town, hear the facts, stories, and interesting things about Porvoo from your guide, and experience its medieval atmosphere. After the guided tour, you will have around one and half hours free own time to explore more about this town. You may visit some lovely cafes or shops that you just pass by, take some more pictures, and have your own light adventure in Porvoo!
