How to Replace The AL-042FR Refrigerator Filter Cartridge<\/span><\/p>\n

    \n
  • Shut off the water supply.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Turn the old filter cartridge 1\/4 turn anticlockwise to the left<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Pull the filter straight out and discard.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Remove protecting cup from the new filter<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Push the new filter into the filter head.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Turn the filter 1\/4 turn to the right to lock it into place.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Turn on water supply<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Run water for 5 minutes to purge the system.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Check the filter area for leaks.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    When the refrigerator water filter is replaced, reset the “Filter Indicator” light by pressing the Ice Maker Lock button for 3 seconds or more. While holding the lock button. The light will change to green.<\/span><\/p>\n
